Yeah, sometimes you just have one of those days... or weeks... or months.
I wish I could narrow it down to one specific reason I feel this way, but I can't.
It's a host of things.
One is my son trying to snore directly above my head.
I've only recently started doing a lot of blogging outside of my MySpace Page . I've developed some good relationships there and my traffic is very steady (avg. 500 views a week, for a semi-modest guy such as myself), but some of the limitations and the problems with the interface have prompted my gravitation to Blogger.com. I don't get as personal here as I do on my MySpace, that's a different tone. Recently, I did a very personal blog about a former friend in relation to a statement he made. He basically called me a woman-beater, which was technically true. Let me explain... this person was a very close personal friend of mine who slept with my ex-girlfriend. During the course of my on-again-off-again relationship with my ex, we had an 'off' due to a physical confrontation between us. We had a heated exchange, and I tried to leave via the front door, but she blocked my path. I retreated to a bathroom and locked the door, but she kicked the door in and got ...
Now, I don't really think I'm really going to be "random", per se. I have a friend of mine on Twitter, her name is @Dioracat , she's a pretty nifty blogger ( did I just say 'nifty'? OMG, no more "Happy Days" on Nick @ Nite! ) and I've enjoyed reading through her blogs and how she embraces her geekness. Geek is actually been very kewl for a long time, the rest of the world just wasn't in on it. Who brought you all the things we do here? Posting online, leaving comments, etc? This came from Bulletin Boards. Most of you out there haven't the foggiest notion of what I'm talking about. Anyway, she can be quite random when she writes, but very stylistic in her randomness. I'm all about the structured blog, so to speak, but sometimes it's ok to just let it flow naturally. It's a different rhythm. It's like... jazz for blogging. Yeah. I like that. Anyway, she's kinda the inspiration. I've got several things on my ...
That's how long it's been since I have posted anything, and I do apologize for that. I apologize to you, and to myself. I'm not referring to the months that I wasn't online, I mean since I've returned, I haven't posted once... Hi, my name is Tango... and I have writer's block. It's not complete writer's block. If that were the case, I wouldn't have the couple-thousand words or so of my book. It's a very specific type of block. I can't get a blog out to save my life. It's like everything is going on, and nothing is going on. I see certain things that have me busting at the seams (the Birther Bill, Arizona as the Retard Racist's Capital Of the United States) but these people are so insipid that it diminishes me to argue against and give time to them/it. I've read a ton of books ( Stephen King's "On Writing" , 6 of Anne Bishop's Black Jewels books, The first two Twilight Books, and I'm halfway through Kim ...
